What is the minimum hardware requirement to use SDXpressMinimum Hardware requrement are as follows:-
1. RAM 256 MB (512 MB recommended)
2. 400 MB of hard disk space; cache for optional installation files (recommended) requires an additional 200 MB of available disk space

CD-ROM drive (during installation)
What is the difference between ‘SDXpress-Lite’ and ‘SDXpress-Std’?‘SDXpress-Lite’ is “license free” with basic functionalities. For a limited time, it will be bundled together with every selected instrument purchased from SSG.
‘SDXpress-Standard’ is a “Licensed” version with more powerful features and can be purchased at a reasonable cost.
I have installed SDXpress-Lite and want to upgrade to SDXpress-Standard. What is the procedure?You will have to purchase a copy of the SDXpress-Standard. SDXpress-Standard comes in a box with Product Key inside it. You will use this Product Key to upgrade via internet (instantaneously) or via e-mail.
I need to upgrade from SDXpress-Lite to SDXpress-Standard urgently. How?If you already have SDXpress-Lite installed and want to upgrade to SDXpress-Standard, all you need is just the Product Key. You can purchase the SDXpress-Standard without the box by asking your sales representative to just issue you the Product Key. This will save you time and money incurred from the freight. However, the price with and without the box is the same.
Can I install SDXpress-Standard on multiple PC?No. SDXpress-Standard is licensed to a single PC only.
What if my PC breaks down and need to re-install SDXpress-Standard? How can I license it again?SDXpress-Standard is very robust. The software will have the capability to detect (through many parameters of the PC) and re-license the SDXpress-Standard accordingly. In the event that it still cannot be licensed, you can proceed to SDXpress website to make a request.
Can I transfer my SDXpress-Standard license to another PC?Yes. There is a provision in the software for the transfer of license from PC to PC.
Are there any patches / update for using the SDXpress-Lite version?Yes. Although it is free software, it is the intention of SSG to provide a good service to its customer. In order to keep up with new release of instruments and to improve the software, patches and updates will be provided. The patches will be available through a dedicated SDXpress website.
Is SDXpress available in any other language other than English?No. It may be considered in the near future.

How do I add my own symbols to the library?
Create your symbol file in the drawing editor and save the file in APD format in Symbols folder where SDXpress is installed (default: C:\Sokkia\SDXpress\Symbols). In future, this symbol can be used in the library
